Celebrating International Labour Day- 1st May

Do you know the importance of  1 st May?
May 1 marks the celebration of  spring festival and usually a public holiday in an ancient northern hemisphere ; it is also a traditional spring holiday in many cultures. Dances, singing, and cake are usually part of the celebrations that the day includes. In the late 19th century, to commemorate the Haymarket affair in Chicago ,May Day was chosen to be the date for International Workers’ Day by the Socialists and Communists.

We still need the same things workers have been struggling for from the start: Fair and equal pay, social justice in general.
