The practice of observing the Friendship Day dates back to 1935, when the United States Congress declared the first Sunday of August as the National Friendship Day.
In 1958, it was turned into an international event.Today, August 7, world celebrates the most sacred non-blood relationship that exists between humans. Friendship Day is one such event which creates euphoria among people who cherish their friendship with their fellow humans. It is one day when a person can get emotional with his friend and express gratitude towards the bonding which they share.
